![]() ![]() A poster was asking about a 15" Alienware laptop with a 4K screen in a recent thread. I'm thinking that is going to be a real problem on a very high resolution screen. The UI has the same font size as the main LNP panel, and I don't know any way to change it. The toolbar floats on top the same as the main LNP panel, but it is a bugger to pick up and move, and I still have not got that off pat. It turns out that a toolbar was added at the end of May this year and can be turned on from the File menu. You can add shortcuts for your favourite presets, at least one of which Guillaume fixed specifically for me (he is incredibly helpful) but with more than 40 presets, all of which are configurable, you can see the problem. The UI has become more complex over the years, and a preset that you use only occasionally, becomes a chore to find. ![]() ![]() While LNP is far and away my favourite Photoshop plugin, the ever continuing addition of new features and presets leaves you with a 'can't find the wood for the trees situation. ![]() I've tried to reinstall both Lazy Nezumi and Mischief, deleting the hidden prefs folders as well, but the problem is still there. While discussing my Lazy Nezumi Pro appearing to make Photoshop freeze issue with Guillaume Stordeur - the author of LNP - he asked in passing, how I was getting on with the new toolbar If I run Mischief AND Lazy Nezumi together, as soon as I tap the pen on the screen, I get incredible lag on the pen stroke, with the cpu stuck to 0.6Ghz. If I run Mischief alone, when it is idle, the CPU is around 0.6Ghz.Īgain, with only Mischief active, the CPU oscillates between 1.2-1.8 ghz, and every pen stroke it's quite fluid. The two weren't working very well together, and then, after switching to the Edge browser, I suddenly got a blue screen with the " KernelĪfter restarting, Lazy Nezumi is not working anymore with Mischief as well (it was working great before). Now, I was trying to use it together with ZBrush, which UI it's not contained in a standard window, but goes fullscreen. Lazy Nezumi Pro is a software that hooks up to an existing application to modify the pen stroke, it uses OpenGL overlays to draw extra feedback on screen, and it works great together with Mischief. I have a brand new Surface Pro 4, with only 3 art applications installed (Lazy Nezumi Pro, Mischief and Zbrush).Īll 3 of them make intensive use of the pen. ![]()
